Children's Worship
At Crossroads, we strive to offer an age appropriate worship/church experience for children of all ages.
Preschool:
Crossroads Preschool Time is for children from birth through kindergarten. Their time together lasts throughout the main adult worship gathering. We have age appropriate games and activities to drive home the Bible lesson that children are taught on Sunday morning. Scripture is shared with our preschool children in order to teach them that what they are learning comes directly from the Bible. Our desire for our preschoolers is that they begin learning about the Lord Jesus at an early age which will provide them with a foundation for a pers
onal relationship with Him later on.
onal relationship with Him later on.We have two classrooms in our preschool department (located downstairs). We divide the rooms by ages: one for children birth to two years and another for children ages three to five. This allows our teachers to teach biblical concepts on an age appropriate level. By doing this, our preschoolers are able to gain a better understanding of who God is.
Our number one goal, aside from our desire to see our children develop a personal relationship with the Lord, is SAFETY. We provide a secure check-in system that allows children to only be dropped off and picked up by you, the parent, using a security card. Upon arrival, you may check your children in downstairs with their teachers. You may rest assured ... they are in good hands. Please make sure you write down your cell phone number on the sign-in sheet and keep your phone on vibrate during the service in case an emergency arises. In the case that you cannot be contacted by phone, someone will come and get you.

K.E.W.L. Kids:Crossroads K.E.W.L. Kids (Kids Energetically Worshipping the Lord) is for kids from 1st grade through 5th grade. We believe it is important for children to learn the Bible at an age appropriate level while also learning to worship God through song, prayer, communion, and other worship aspects with overall reverence and structure. We, therefore, leave this age group in our main worship gathering until the teaching time, at which point, this age group is dismissed for their own teaching time from the Bible.
All children may be picked up downstairs at the conclusion of the main service. If you have a preschooler, don't forget your security card!
