The Gospel ClassSaturday, February 25th &Saturday, March 3rdat Crossroads Church 8am - 12pmWhat is The Gospel Class? The Gospel Class is the foundational discovery course of Crossroads Church. It’s here that you will learn what Crossroads Church is all about. You’ll learn what we believe about God and Christianity and how we put that understanding into practice. We’ve structured the class as a basic doctrinal survey where the very essentials of what it is to be a Christian are taught. The included topics are Scripture, God, Creation, Sin, Salvation, and the Church. Within this context and out of our biblical theology, however, you’ll discover what our values and practical mission are as a church. We’ll cover things like money, spiritual gifts, leadership structure, and what it means to be Crossroads on mission in Morgantown.Who should take The Gospel Class? The Gospel Class is open to everyone. If it’s your first week at Crossroads Church, if you believe in Jesus or not, this introductory class is a great place to get started for those who are merely curious and for those who are excited to get connected. We ask that everyone considering Crossroads to be their church home take this class to assess how they feel about God, the Gospel, and what we believe, praying for discernment and growth as they choose a local body of believers to call their family. We believe that God calls us to invest in the local church by utilizing our time, talent, and treasure – living the life of mission and ministry of which we were created (Eph. 2:10). Jesus clearly illustrates His view of investment in Matt. 25:14 with the parable of the talents. Jesus relates the Kingdom of Heaven to the picture of a master, who, going on a journey, entrusts his wealth to his servants. In the end, those servants who invested the master’s talents received a great reward, while the one who buried his talent was sent away from the master’s house. We at Crossroads strive to be servants of God, who, knowing our Master, invest the talents He has given us, storing up for ourselves treasure in Heaven (Matt. 6:19-20), for the advancement of His Kingdom and for our great reward when the Master returns to settle accounts. Therefore, Crossroads Church refers to its members as Members. How do I become a member of Crossroads? The Gospel Class is Crossroads path to membership. This class is required to become an Member at Crossroads Church. We ask anyone interested in becoming an Member to walk with us through our foundational theology, core values, and missional doctrine. Whether you have recently become a Christian, have a Masters of Divinity, or simply seek to understand who we are and what Crossroads believes, we offer no exceptions. The Gospel Class will outline our view of what it means to be an Member. To sign up for the Gospel Class, simply fill out THIS form. (In the message area, indicate that you would like to sign up for this class and include your contact information.)

SiegeSunday Nights 6:00pm - 8:00pm --------------------------------------------------------------------------------Siege is a group of young people ages 12 through their senior year of high school who meet once a week at Crossroads Church. At Siege, you can freely express your belief in Jesus with others your own age. It is a place where you can learn more about Jesus in a relaxed and fun atmosphere and a place where those who have not met Jesus can learn how to have a relationship with him. Siege is strongly biblically based and is faithful to the standards and beliefs of the larger Crossroads congregation.

Children's MinistryAt Crossroads, we strive to offer an age appropriate worship/church experience for children of all ages. We will not hide these truths from our children, We will tell the next generation about the glorious deeds of the Lord, about His power and His mighty wonders. ~ Psalm 78:4 Our Purpose The purpose of Crossroads children's ministry is to create a learning where children can learn foundational truths about God, Jesus, the Bible, church, others, self, family, and God’s creation. Our goal is to aid you in raising your child to love and serve God! We use a Biblical curriculum provided by Lifeway Christian Resources. We have age-appropriate activities that are focused on the age development of your child. On any Sunday your child may be constructing animals with play-dough, stacking blocks, role-playing through kitchen activities, coloring, painting and playing instruments during music time. All activities are planned to coordinate with the Bible story, focusing on a specific Biblical truth. Each child will learn a Bible verse and be encouraged to apply the truths they’ve learned through Life Application. We want to encourage all parents to know what their children are learning in our children's services. We do this through providing a weekly take-home paper with activities that you can do with your child to reinforce Bible lesson concepts. (Please scroll down to the bottom to read about our check-in policy)--------------------------------------------------------------------------------Preschool: Crossroads Preschool Time is for children from birth through kindergarden. We have age appropriate games and activities to drive home the Bible lesson that children are taught on Sunday morning. Scripture is shared with our preschool children in order to teach them that what they are learning comes directly from the Bible. Our desire for our preschoolers is that they begin learning about the Lord Jesus at an early age which will provide them with a foundation for a personal relationship with Him later on. We have two classrooms in our preschool department (located downstairs). Crossroads preschool realizes the importance of cleanliness for the health of each person and therefore we provide a clean environment by sanitizing all toys and surfaces before and after services. We divide the rooms by ages: one for children birth to two years and another for children ages three to five. This allows our teachers to teach biblical concepts on an age appropriate level. By doing this, our preschoolers are able to gain a better understanding of who God is.--------------------------------------------------------------------------------K.E.W.L. Kids: Crossroads Children’s Ministry is full of K.E.W.L Kids… Kids Energetically Worshipping the Lord! We believe that the hour that we are with your children is one of the most important hours of their week. Our purpose is to provide children with the tools they need for faith in Jesus Christ, a desire to be obedient to Him, and a love for Him that will remain throughout their lifetime. Kewl Kids are dismissed from the main gathering towards the beginning of the service and meet downstairs in the Kewl Kids Clubhouse through the entirity of the main gathering on Sunday mornings. They return upstairs towards the end of the service to join in as our worship band leads us in response to God through music.--------------------------------------------------------------------------------Pre-school Check-In Procedures Our preschool area is located downstairs. You may sign your children in prior to the morning service.(Our adult children's ministry volunteers are required to receive background checks to ensure the safety of your family!)Our volunteer teachers will provide you with all the information you need and will be available to answer any questions you might have, but basically you give your name, child's name, any special instructions to the volunteers. They will provide you with a numbered security card that matches you to your child. Please make sure you write down your cell phone number on the sign-in sheet and keep your phone on vibrate during the service in case we would need you to come and attend to your child.Parents are more than welcome to come down and get their child adjusted to the new environment and then return upstairs for the message. All children may be picked up downstairs at the conclusion of the main service. Please present the security card you were given in order to receive your child. The safety of your children is a top priority for Crossroads Church and therefore we take this process very seriously. Only the person holding your child's matching security card number is allowed to pick-up your child. For more information about our Children's Ministry, Please Contact Us!!

Community GroupsWhere Scripture translates into life. What is a Community Group? These are weekly gatherings in apartments, condos and homes all around Morgantown, where people connect to learn, pray, serve, and share. These groups really are the heart of Crossroads. The church is meant to be more than just a Sunday club; it is a place where disciples are made and grown. Community Groups are the central place where gospel transformation happens. They are the ‘scattered’ half of the community equation. We encourage everyone who comes through our doors on a Sunday to be involved in a Community Group rather than just slip into anonymity. This is where Crossroads becomes more than an event; this is where it becomes a spiritual home. What to expect:These groups aren’t for “really committed church people,” as if coming on Sunday is JV and in Community Groups you move up to varsity. They are for everyone, from atheists to infant Christians to those who have claimed Jesus for a long time. Groups are similar in structure, though there is a great deal of variety. On a normal evening the group will discuss the current study and really wrestle with how to apply its truths to our lives. There will be prayer and some time for hearing what the Lord is doing in our lives. Some weeks a group may decide to mix it up and spend some time serving the city. Or you may make a meal together and spend time getting to know each other better. The groups are very casual; there is no pressure to have all the right answers or all the pieces together. It really is all about drawing closer to each other and to Jesus.Joining a Group:If you would like to join or visit a group, find a group that's close to you, contact the leader, let them know that you'll be visiting, ask for directions to their home and go! Its that simple! Another way to find a group is to attend one of our gatherings, meet someone and ask them if you can go to their group with them. Please feel free to visit more than one to find a good fit. These groups usually have visitors on a normal basis, so chances are you won't be the only visitor! If you have any questions or would like help finding a group, contact Pastor Chris at pastorp@wvcrossroads.com.

Typical Sunday MorningWhen you get ready to come to Crossroads on Sunday morning, dress casually. We do not have a dress code and you will find most of our members and attenders dressed in a way that is the most comfortable to them. You will see everything from nice slacks and skirts to jeans and even sweatpants are spotted occasionally, so wear whatever you are most comfortable in. We have a large parking lot adjacent to our building, which is located behind Rite Aid in the Westover Triangle, and also across the street that you can park in. When you come inside, feel free to mingle, grab some fresh roasted coffee and get to know us.When you are ready to sit down, sit wherever you like. We do not have assigned seats so you won't be "taking" someone's chair. We are so glad that you are there, we'll sit on the floor if we have to! If you have children, be sure to check out our Children's Ministry Our Sunday gatherings usually consist of preaching and response. We love the Bible at Crossroads. The primary focus of our Sunday gathering is receiving from the Word and responding to the Word. We typically preach straight through books of the Bible, seeking to learn from the Word of God and to respond by applying the truth to our lives. After the preaching, our worship band leads us in response to God. The music at Crossroads crosses a diverse blend of genres and varies from traditional hymns to upbeat, original songs. The central theme of every song is the person and work of Jesus Christ. Be sure to fill out a Crossroads Connection Card so we can get to know you, share with you more information about the church, and answer any questions you might have. After the service, stick around for awhile and meet some new friends. Someone is sure to invite you out for lunch. Oh, before you leave, don't forget to pick up the kids. We have a lost and found, but you wouldn't want your kids left there all week now would you?

What We BelieveWe affirm the following doctrines as of first importance in accordance with Scripture. These are the beliefs every member of Crossroads Church affirms in unity. Over any secondary issues we welcome diversity. The Tri-une God We believe in one God, eternally existing in three equally divine Persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, who know, love, and glorify one another. This one true and living God is infinitely perfect both in his love and in his holiness. He is the Creator of all things, visible and invisible, and is therefore worthy to receive all glory and adoration. Immortal and eternal, he perfectly and exhaustively knows the end from the beginning, sustains and sovereignly rules over all things, and providentially brings about his eternal good purposes to redeem a people for himself and restore his fallen creation, to the praise of his glorious grace. Revelation God has graciously disclosed his existence and power in the created order, and has supremely revealed himself to fallen human beings in the person of his Son, the incarnate Word. Moreover, this God is a speaking God who by his Spirit has graciously disclosed himself in human words: we believe that God has inspired the words preserved in the Scriptures, the sixty-six books of the Old and New Testaments, which are both record and means of his saving work in the world. These writings alone constitute the verbally inspired Word of God, which is utterly authoritative and without error in the original writings, complete in its revelation of his will for salvation, sufficient for all that God requires us to believe and do, and final in its authority over every domain of knowledge to which it speaks. We confess that both our finitude and our sinfulness preclude the possibility of knowing God’s truth exhaustively, but we affirm that, enlightened by the Spirit of God, we can know God’s revealed truth truly. The Bible is to be believed, as God’s instruction, in all that it teaches; obeyed, as God’s command, in all that it requires; and trusted, as God’s pledge, in all that it promises. As God’s people hear, believe, and do the Word, they are equipped as disciples of Christ and witnesses to the gospel. Creation of Humanity We believe that God created human beings, male and female, in his own image. Adam and Eve belonged to the created order that God himself declared to be very good, serving as God’s agents to care for, manage, and govern creation, living in holy and devoted fellowship with their Maker. Men and women, equally made in the image of God, enjoy equal access to God by faith in Christ Jesus and are both called to move beyond passive self-indulgence to significant private and public engagement in family, church, and civic life. Adam and Eve were made to complement each other in a one-flesh union that establishes the only normative pattern of sexual relations for men and women, such that marriage ultimately serves as a type of the union between Christ and his church. In God’s wise purposes, men and women are not simply interchangeable, but rather they complement each other in mutually enriching ways. God ordains that they assume distinctive roles which reflect the loving relationship between Christ and the church, the husband exercising headship in a way that displays the caring, sacrificial love of Christ, and the wife submitting to her husband in a way that models the love of the church for her Lord. In the ministry of the church, both men and women are encouraged to serve Christ and to be developed to their full potential in the manifold ministries of the people of God. The distinctive leadership role within the church given to qualified men is grounded in creation, fall, and redemption and must not be sidelined by appeals to cultural developments. The Fall We believe that Adam, made in the image of God, distorted that image and forfeited his original blessedness—for himself and all his progeny—by falling into sin through Satan’s temptation. As a result, all human beings are alienated from God, corrupted in every aspect of their being (e.g., physically, mentally, volitionally, emotionally, spiritually) and condemned finally and irrevocably to death—apart from God’s own gracious intervention. The supreme need of all human beings is to be reconciled to the God under whose just and holy wrath we stand; the only hope of all human beings is the undeserved love of this same God, who alone can rescue us and restore us to himself. The Plan of God We believe that from all eternity God determined in grace to save a great multitude of guilty sinners from every tribe and language and people and nation, and to this end foreknew them and chose them. We believe that God justifies and sanctifies those who by grace have faith in Jesus, and that he will one day glorify them—all to the praise of his glorious grace. In love God commands and implores all people to repent and believe, having set his saving love on those he has chosen and having ordained Christ to be their Redeemer. The Gospel We believe that the gospel is the good news of Jesus Christ—God’s very wisdom. Utter folly to the world, even though it is the power of God to those who are being saved, this good news is christological, centering on the cross and resurrection: the gospel is not proclaimed if Christ is not proclaimed, and the authentic Christ has not been proclaimed if his death and resurrection are not central (the message is €Christ died for our sins . . . [and] was raised”). This good news is biblical (his death and resurrection are according to the Scriptures), theological and salvific (Christ died for our sins, to reconcile us to God), historical (if the saving events did not happen, our faith is worthless, we are still in our sins, and we are to be pitied more than all others), apostolic (the message was entrusted to and transmitted by the apostles, who were witnesses of these saving events), and intensely personal (where it is received, believed, and held firmly, individual persons are saved). The Redemption of Christ We believe that, moved by love and in obedience to his Father, the eternal Son became human: the Word became flesh, fully God and fully human being, one Person in two natures. The man Jesus, the promised Messiah of Israel, was conceived through the miraculous agency of the Holy Spirit, and was born of the virgin Mary. He perfectly obeyed his heavenly Father, lived a sinless life, performed miraculous signs, was crucified under Pontius Pilate, arose bodily from the dead on the third day, and ascended into heaven. As the mediatorial King, he is seated at the right hand of God the Father, exercising in heaven and on earth all of God’s sovereignty, and is our High Priest and righteous Advocate. We believe that by his incarnation, life, death, resurrection, and ascension, Jesus Christ acted as our representative and substitute. He did this so that in him we might become the righteousness of God: on the cross he canceled sin, propitiated God, and, by bearing the full penalty of our sins, reconciled to God all those who believe. By his resurrection Christ Jesus was vindicated by his Father, broke the power of death and defeated Satan who once had power over it, and brought everlasting life to all his people; by his ascension he has been forever exalted as Lord and has prepared a place for us to be with him. We believe that salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name given under heaven by which we must be saved. Because God chose the lowly things of this world, the despised things, the things that are not, to nullify the things that are, no human being can ever boast before him—Christ Jesus has become for us wisdom from God—that is, our righteousness, holiness, and redemption. The Justification of Sinners We believe that Christ, by his obedience and death, fully discharged the debt of all those who are justified. By his sacrifice, he bore in our stead the punishment due us for our sins, making a proper, real, and full satisfaction to God’s justice on our behalf. By his perfect obedience he satisfied the just demands of God on our behalf, since by faith alone that perfect obedience is credited to all who trust in Christ alone for their acceptance with God. Inasmuch as Christ was given by the Father for us, and his obedience and punishment were accepted in place of our own, freely and not for anything in us, this justification is solely of free grace, in order that both the exact justice and the rich grace of God might be glorified in the justification of sinners. We believe that a zeal for personal and public obedience flows from this free justification. The Power of the Holy Spirit We believe that this salvation, attested in all Scripture and secured by Jesus Christ, is applied to his people by the Holy Spirit. Sent by the Father and the Son, the Holy Spirit glorifies the Lord Jesus Christ, and, as the €other” Paraclete, is present with and in believers. He convicts the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment, and by his powerful and mysterious work regenerates spiritually dead sinners, awakening them to repentance and faith, baptizing them into union with the Lord Jesus, such that they are justified before God by grace alone through faith alone in Jesus Christ alone. By the Spirit’s agency, believers are renewed, sanctified, and adopted into God’s family; they participate in the divine nature and receive his sovereignly distributed gifts. The Holy Spirit is himself the down payment of the promised inheritance, and in this age indwells, guides, instructs, equips, revives, and empowers believers for Christ-like living and service. The Kingdom of God We believe that those who have been saved by the grace of God through union with Christ by faith and through regeneration by the Holy Spirit enter the kingdom of God and delight in the blessings of the new covenant: the forgiveness of sins, the inward transformation that awakens a desire to glorify, trust, and obey God, and the prospect of the glory yet to be revealed. Good works constitute indispensable evidence of saving grace. Living as salt in a world that is decaying and light in a world that is dark, believers should neither withdraw into seclusion from the world, nor become indistinguishable from it: rather, we are to do good to the city, for all the glory and honor of the nations is to be offered up to the living God. Recognizing whose created order this is, and because we are citizens of God’s kingdom, we are to love our neighbors as ourselves, doing good to all, especially to those who belong to the household of God. The kingdom of God, already present but not fully realized, is the exercise of God’s sovereignty in the world toward the eventual redemption of all creation. The kingdom of God is an invasive power that plunders Satan’s dark kingdom and regenerates and renovates through repentance and faith the lives of individuals rescued from that kingdom. It therefore inevitably establishes a new community of human life together under God. God’s New People We believe that God’s new covenant people have already come to the heavenly Jerusalem; they are already seated with Christ in the heavenlies. This universal church is manifest in local churches of which Christ is the only Head; thus each €local church” is, in fact, the church, the household of God, the assembly of the living God, and the pillar and foundation of the truth. The church is the body of Christ, the apple of his eye, graven on his hands, and he has pledged himself to her forever. The church is distinguished by her gospel message, her sacred ordinances, her discipline, her great mission, and, above all, by her love for God, and by her members’ love for one another and for the world. Crucially, this gospel we cherish has both personal and corporate dimensions, neither of which may properly be overlooked. Christ Jesus is our peace: he has not only brought about peace with God, but also peace between alienated peoples. His purpose was to create in himself one new humanity, thus making peace, and in one body to reconcile both Jew and Gentile to God through the cross, by which he put to death their hostility. The church serves as a sign of God’s future new world when its members live for the service of one another and their neighbors, rather than for self-focus. The church is the corporate dwelling place of God’s Spirit, and the continuing witness to God in the world. Baptism and the Lord’s Supper We believe that baptism and the Lord’s Supper are ordained by the Lord Jesus himself. The former is connected with entrance into the new covenant community, the latter with ongoing covenant renewal. Together they are simultaneously God’s pledge to us, divinely ordained means of grace, our public vows of submission to the once crucified and now resurrected Christ, and anticipations of his return and of the consummation of all things. The Restoration of All Things We believe in the personal, glorious, and bodily return of our Lord Jesus Christ with his holy angels, when he will exercise his role as final Judge, and his kingdom will be consummated. We believe in the bodily resurrection of both the just and the unjust—the unjust to judgment and eternal conscious punishment in hell, as our Lord himself taught, and the just to eternal blessedness in the presence of him who sits on the throne and of the Lamb, in the new heaven and the new earth, the home of righteousness. On that day the church will be presented faultless before God by the obedience, suffering and triumph of Christ, all sin purged and its wretched effects forever banished. God will be all in all and his people will be enthralled by the immediacy of his ineffable holiness, and everything will be to the praise of his glorious grace. Who We AreWe love Jesus. We love our city. We want the two to meet. You’ll notice people at Crossroads talk about Jesus a lot. It’s not just a clever catch-phrase, He’s the singular passion of our church, our lives and the good news we seek to share with our city. Crossroads Church exists to spread a passion for Jesus Christ for the joy of all people within the city and extending to all nations. We want to see people meet Jesus, join others who love Jesus, grow in the grace and knowledge of Jesus, and get involved in Jesus’ mission for God’s glory and the good of our city and world. Our Values and VirtuesEach of our values is followed by a corresponding virtue the pursuit of the value will work in us. Truth – GraceGod’s Word is truth (John 17:17). Scripture is inspired by the Holy Spirit (2 Peter 1:21), God-breathed, and thereby true, infallible, profitable for teaching, instruction, correction (2 Timothy 3:16), and sanctifying into maturity (John 17:17) and stands alone as highest authority, the truth by which we evaluate all other claims of truth. Therefore we tether our lives, mission, and ministry to the unchanging truth of God. Any word from God, admonition, critique, teaching, method or wisdom will be tested by and submit to Scripture. When Scripture speaks, we listen. Where it does not, we have freedom. (Proverbs 30:6, Matthew 5:18, Revelation 22:18-19)“The Word became flesh... We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.” (John 1:14) Likewise, the totality of our lives, in the footsteps and Spirit of Christ, are to be lived by and through the grace and truth of God, speaking the truth in love (Ephesians 4:15). The Glory of God – JoyThe chief end of God is the display of his Glory thru Jesus Christ (Hebrews 1:3). All that exists, from creation to cross to consummation and condemnation—including sin and suffering—exists to display the glory of God in giving grace to His children. (Colossians 1:16, Ephesians 1:3-14, 2 Thess. 1:10, Romans 11:36, Romans 9:22-23). In pursuing God’s glory, God procures our highest, fullest joy because we exist for His glory (Isa. 43:6-7). Therefore, I center my life on the cross, the blazing center of God’s glory, and the terminus where every gift of grace leads (Romans 8:32).The effect of a Cross-centered life is joy by the grace and mercy and blessings God has purchased for us through the cross. This is not a groundless joy that denies the reality of a fallen, cursed world, but a rock-solid joy that stands firm through sorrow and pain with faith in our loving Father who uses even hardship for His glory and our good and hope made evident on the cross (Philippians 4:4, Psalm 16:11, John 10:10, Romans 8:28, 2 Corinthians 6:10, John 15:10-11).Biblical Community – AuthenticityFrom the beginning God stated it’s not good for us to be alone (Genesis 2:18). We are created in the image of our Trinitarian God who exists in eternal community (Genesis 1:27). The most common metaphors for followers of Jesus Christ throughout Scripture are as a family or a body. To return to God is to enter into the family of God in biblical community, not merely hanging out, but loving, encouraging, and sharpening one another, using the gifts God has given us to serve and build up one another (Romans 8:14-17, Ephesians 4:1-16, 1 Corinthians 12:12-27, Hebrews 10:19-25, Romans 12). In Acts 2, thousands gather to hear Peter standing to preach proclamationally ending with a call to repent and be baptized in the name of Jesus. 3,000 become Christians, and they immediately scatter into smaller groups that met daily where they devoted themselves to the apostle's teaching (historical Christianity), and to fellowship (celebrating with Christians), the breaking of bread (likely the Lord's Supper), prayer and praising God, enjoying the favor of all the people (nonChristians and unchurched enjoyed the groups) and the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved (there was hospitality (the welcoming of strangers/nonChristians), and they were missional (seeking to reconcile the nonChristians to Jesus). It is through biblical community that authenticity is forged. Continuous Worship – LoveAll of life is a continuous outpouring of worship, giving our time, talent and treasure to something or someone. We become like that which we worship, and we were created to worship and become like Jesus alone (1 Corinthians 3:18, Romans 8:29, 1 John 3:2). Therefore we live our lives as a response to the grace of God, not merely in songs and services, but in every aspect of our daily lives (1 Corinthians 10:31, Luke 12:34, Romans 12:1-2). As we behold and become we do so in ever-increasing love of God and one another (1 John 4:7-21, Luke 10:27, 1 Corinthians 13). Missional Living – ObedienceIt is the duty and delight of every Christian to redeem their speech, their hobbies, their time and the totality of their lives as missionaries of Jesus Christ who was sent by the Father and who sent his disciples to abandon comfort, to embrace the cross and to take the message of the Gospel into their backyards and abroad as salt and light in a tasteless and dark world. (1 Corinthians 9:19-23, 2 Corinthians 5:17-21, John 17:15-19, John 20:21-22, Matthew 28:19-20)Involvement – HumilityEach Christian is called to be actively involved by the empowering grace of the Holy Spirit. In their own spiritual growth and maturity (in worship, on mission, becoming more like Jesus in holiness daily) and in their church’s growth—vertically (in maturity, discipleship, and sound doctrine) and horizontally (in impact, outreach and number). We gather corporately to equip and encourage and send out and pour out in ministry on mission with Jesus. (Philippians 2:12, Romans 12, Ephesians 4:1-16, 1 Corinthians 12:12-27, 1 Peter 4:10-11)Christians should seek other Christians further down the road in maturity, spiritually or practically and learn from them, while seeking out Christians younger or weaker than them to encourage, instruct and pray for. This includes a commitment to learning from books, mentors and teachers who are faithful to Scripture. (Proverbs 27:17, 1 Corinthians 4:14-17, 11:1, Philippians 3:17, Deut. 11:18-19, Acts 2:42) As we get involved in our own growth and in the growth of the church we do so out of humility (Philippians 2:1-13, James 4:6).The MissionCrossroads Church exists to make passionate followers of Jesus Christ. The VisionCrossroads Church has been called by God to becomeAn authentic biblical community, loving, encouraging and sharpening one another daily…We see a community that gathers in homes around the city to pray for, connect with and serve one another and their city with an authenticity that surpasses friendship, a family that is ever-growing in number and maturity in the grace and knowledge of Jesus Christ.
